  • Where

    Bekaa, Fakeha
  • Who

The farmers and their families in Fakeha rely on the produced crops to make a living.
  • Why

In Fekha, 60% of residents are farmers who solely depend on agriculture to make a living. Currently, the irrigation canals in the region are made out of mud, causing an enormous loss of water resources that could have otherwise been productively used by farmers to enhance their standards of living by selling additional amounts of products.
  • How

Live Lebanon wants to implement a project that resolves these losses of water, effort, production and profits by implementing a main cement canal that would irrigate the entire village. Farmers would then be able to increase their standards of living by improving the fertility of their crops as well as the quantity and quality of their products.
