Mr. Ghaleb Farha, has been in the Emirates for over 45 years and involved in various line of businesses i.e. Interior Fit-outs, Chemicals, Hotels & Hospitality Industry, Clinics etc.
A prominent businessman, Mr. Farha owns Cloisall which has its head office based in Dubai with branches in Abu Dhabi, Qatar, Amman, Oman and Bahrain. The company has around 20 Lebanese Sales employees– all University graduates and has around 300 labourers. Also, Mr. Farha operates 3 well reputed Poly-Clinics in Dubai with a total strength of 15 Medical Doctors.
Concerning memberships and achievements, Mr. Farha is Vice Chairman of building Material Group, which was organized by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry. Mr. Farha also serves as the Finance Chair of the World Presidents Organization (WPO) - an international Association of Presidents of Companies who meet regularly for educational and commercial benefits.
Mr. Salameh started his career in advertising right after graduating from Ottawa University in 1980. After over 30 years in the industry and a history of major successes, Mr. Salameh has positioned himself as one of the most important advertising and marketing communications professionals in the region.
Mr. Salameh was, until recently, the President and CEO of Middle East Communication Networks (MCN), which is the largest network of advertising, marketing communications and media agencies in the Middle East and North Africa. Mr. Salameh is now a well-known established business personality in Lebanon, and his esteem and positive reputation is spread across the Lebanese Diaspora. His most recent projects have been the establishment of Cameleon Event Management Company and the C Flow Beach Resort.
Throughout his career, Mr. Salameh has initiated several key social responsibility initiatives. Additionally, he has tirelessly promoted the Lebanese cause for community building amongst his fellow expats. Mr. Salameh is the General Secretary and a Member of the Board of the Lebanese Economic Forum, a private non-profit organization founded to promote economic development based on private initiative within the framework of a liberal economy. He was nominated Live Lebanon Goodwill Ambassador in 2010 and he was lately nominated as Chairman of Radio Liban Libre besides being the GM of LITS.
Mrs. Saada Fakhry is a prominent member of the Lebanese expatriate community in both Ghana and the United Kingdom. Despite having emigrated from Beirut to Ghana where she has been a permanent resident for almost 40 years now, Mrs Fakhry has established and managed to maintain strong links with high-profile figures in both the local and Lebanese communities.
She has also supported numerous humanitarian projects for Lebanon through her fund-raising efforts in the region. She has been actively involved in various charities and is a co-founder of HOPE (Help the Orphans, the Poor and the Elderly), a UK-based organization providing aid and support for underprivileged women and children in Lebanon.
Mrs Fakhry recently co-founded an education center in Southern Lebanon with her husband, Saied Fakhry. The center focuses on the development of a cultural and educational program for the local community, providing free tuition in computer technology, languages, music and art.
A long standing supporter of Youth Entrepreneurs, Mr. Farid Chedid is the Founder, Chairman and CEO of Chedid Capital Holding, and a member of the Advisory Board of the Euromena Private Equity Funds.
Throughout his entrepreneurial journey, Mr. Chedid has served as a board member for Endeaver Lebanon, and travelled to many countries to help and support prominent young entrepreneurs.
Mr. Farid Chedid is a Fellow of the Middle East Leadership Initiatives (MELI); a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network (AGLN). He is also an active, committed and influential member in several organizations including: the Young President Organization (YPO) - Lebanon Chapter, the MENA Insurance CEO Club (MICC), the Lebanese Business Association (RDCL) and The Cyprus Shipping Council.
His educational background reflects an extensive, rich and solid base in the fields of Finance , Economics, and Business Management; He holds a Masters in Finance from the ESCP-Europe, France; a Masters in Finance from the Ecole Superieure des Affaires (ESA)-Lebanon; a Masters of Sciences in Management from Universite Paris IX Dauphine- France; he also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Maritime Law from London Metropolitan University- United Kingdom Division of Studies at distance and a Diplome D’ Etudes Universitaires in Economics from Universite Paris IX Dauphine-France.
Owing to his major achievements, Mr. Farid Chedid was elected as Fellow of The Chartered Insurance Institute Broker- United Kingdom.
Mr. Albert Matta was born in Bhamdoun 1938. He is married to Dr. Claire Hanna. He holds a Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering from the American University Of Beirut and a Master Degree in Geographical Engineering from Delft University.
He is the owner of numerous investments in Real Estate in Lebanon, UAE and France. He’s also the Dean of the Lebanese Community in Abu Dhabi, the ex-member of ‘Abu Dhabi Council for Economic Development’, the former President of ‘Lebanese Business Council’ and ‘World Lebanese Cultural Union’.
In addition to his Engineering Achievements, he holds many ranks such as: Order of Lebanese Cedar with a Knight’s rank, Order of Lebanese Silver Palm and National French Order of Merit with a knight rank.
Mrs. Rabiha Raichouni Eidi is a Lebanese-American humanitarian example. The start of Eidi’s enthusiasm to help was due to witnessing the circumstances Lebanon experienced through the years. The suffering and under privilege seen, led Mrs. Eidi to commit to welfare acts and to material and moral support for those in need.
Mrs. Eidi started organizing campaigns to collect donations in 1982 to her latest large initiative in 2006. Campaigns such as raising money for Lebanese students to attend American universities, participated in raising a million dollars for medical assistance for Bekaa and Beirut, and collected donations for destruction caused from the 2006 Israeli war.
To list a few positions Ms. Eidi has held, was on the Lebanese Honorary Consul in Toledo-Ohio, is a member of the ladies Society for the organization of cultural events, member of Toledo mosque committee, and member of “Rene Mouawad Association” in Washington. Ms.Eidi is the founder President of “Dar Al Hanan” Association and member founder of “Al Sader” foundation in America and Canada, and also founded Machghara Medical Center and Languages School.
Some of Ms. Eidi’s major accomplishments are the numerous stances she took in front of the American Senate and in specific her meeting with former President Bill Clinton regarding Lebanese affairs. Ms. Eidi’s also has an extensive list of awards she has received, to list a few Goodwill Ambassador in 2000, earned a Expatriates Medal ,earned a trophy from the American, and trophy from the American Islamic Center in Dearborn Michigan.
Goodwill Ambassador for Gabon, Mr. Ramzi Haidar is a prominent business man in the fields of construction, real estate and road maintenance. He is the honorary consul of the Democratic Republic of Saotome & Principe in Lebanon since 2006. He served or still serves many positions including Honorary and World President of the World Lebanese Cultural Union, Deputy General Secretary of the Lebanese Abroad. (WLCU), Honorary President of the WLCU – Sao Tome Branch. He is an active member in the Lebanese Community in Gabon, the Administrative Council of The Lebanese Cultural Group and the Consular Corps in Lebanon.
