Bringing joy to children in need, Les Amis du Liban in Monaco visited various areas in Lebanon and shared Eid celebrations.
In an effort to bring joy to Lebanon's most deprived children, Les Amis du Liban in Monaco distributed more than 1,500 gifts in various parts of the country. In collaboration with ArtGold, LIVE LEBANON and local municipalities, Les Amis du Liban celebrated with Lebanon's children, putting a smile on many of Lebanon's young population.
Represented though its Ambassador in Lebanon and the Middle East, Ms. Joumana Bou Eid, Les Amis du Liban reached Lebanon's poorest communities. The organization visited Baalbeck, Halba, Marjeyoun, Minnieh, Bint Jbeil, and the southern suburbs of Beirut. This activity made more than 1500 children happy. Receiving such needed attention from friends of Lebanon worldwide, children have an opportunity to enjoy an ordinary childhood and a chance for a better life.
Thanks to Les Amis du Liban children not only received gifts. The organization headed by UNDP LIVE LEBANON Goodwill Ambassador, Mrs. Bouran Boueiry, devised projects in various regions in Lebanon. Support was focused on several levels, including the establishment of recreational parks for children and income generating opportunities for low income families.
