Under the patronage and in the presence of President Michel Aoun, the 4th Lebanese Diaspora Energy (LDE) conference was held at BIEL on May 4, 2017.
Minister Gebran Bassil launched the initiative of the LDE in efforts of celebrating the Diaspora’s success stories, promoting the Lebanese heritage, establishing connections between the Diaspora and the residents, and exploring new possibilities for Lebanon.
This year, more than 2,000 people from the Lebanese diaspora attended the conference traveling from 100 different countries.
Live Lebanon Goodwill Ambassadors Saada Fakhry, Ghaleb Farha, Farid Chedid , and Rabaha Eidi were honored with a recognition award at the conference by Minster Bassil.
