(Tuesday, 22 January 2013) LiveLebanon - UNDP, organized a heartwarming day of play for special needs children in collaboration with the "Right to Play" project. Joining forces with the Koloob Min Noor NGO, BBAC employees offered children from the Bekaa region, all with a diverse range of disabilities, the opportunity to join together for a day of games, face-painting and drawing activities, as well as a short performance.
Tarek Bilal, Head of Marketing at BBAC, said: "We are very proud to have initiated such a day for these children in which they were given the space to express themselves through play and sport. And we applaud Koloob min Noor, an inspirational institution which helps these children receive the important rehabilitative physical training and educational capacities that allow them to be engaged in ordinary civic life".
He added, “We hope that BBAC and UNDP's future initiatives will have equal success in reaching out to underprivileged societies across the country to ensure a Green, Healthy, Young, and Prosperous Lebanon”.
The "Live Lebanon” initiative is unique in its strong partnership with BBAC and the support of various active goodwill ambassadors. BBAC has played an important role in providing necessary assistance across Lebanon as it seeks to fulfill its mission of being a Caring Bank.
