UNDP LIVE LEBANON is proud to welcome Mr. Hasib Moukarim as Goodwill Ambassador in Nigeria.
Mr. Moukarim was born to a Lebanese immigrant family in Nigeria. Residing there since 1975, Mr. Moukarim has established and maintained excellent relations with members of the Lebanese community. He is a representative of the Mashiakat el Akl of Lebanon since 2008 and member of the Board of Trustees at the Lebanese International School in Lagos. Furthermore, Mr. Hasib is member of the Executive Council of the Lebanese Cultural Union in Nigeria. He is also a recipient of several awards from Nigerian associations and nongovernmental organizations.
In the business world Mr. Moukarim has served in various positions including, Executive Director of Mouka Group, in addition to being Chairman of Foam Manufacturing Group and 2nd Vice Chairman of Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (Ikeja). Currently he serves as Managing Director of Nigeria Gas & Steel Ltd in Lagos.
