The largest Lebanese flag in the world

Lebanese residing abroad never fail to show their attachment to their country. Through creative ideas, they work to achieve the best for Lebanon and its people. The last of these creative ideas has been the largest Lebanese flag initiated by Lebanese residing in Kuwait.

The flag is said to be 65,650 square meters centered by the Lebanon's cedar tree encompassing a symbolic 10,452 square meters, representing the surface area of Lebanon. The 325 meters long and 202 meters wide flag weighs more than eight tons. It will be transported to Lebanon where an unfurling ceremony will take place on October 10, 2010.
