Residents of Meshmesh live in a beautiful mountainous village in the Akkar region. Although many would envy them for the picturesque and breathetaking sceneries of their village, none would desire being many kilometers away from essential medical treatment.

Over 100 chronic cardiac patients had difficulty accessing medical attention given the remoteness of their village and the high cost of treatment at private health centers.

Through supporting LIVE LEBANON's health project in Meshmesh, your donations have provided a highly needed cardiac echo-graphic doppler to the municipal health clinic. Patients no longer have to endure costs of transportation and high medical fees incurred at private hospitals located at least 35km away.

At the municipal health center in Meshmesh, patients are now obtaining medical treatment at reduced prices. They also receive proper cardiac drugs at a very low cost. Overall, it is estimated that more than 30,000 inhabitants benefit from the implementation of this project.
