How it Began
The area of Marjeyoun includes over seven villages. Marjeyoun Governmental Hospital is the only public facility that is close to residents that seek medical attention. The hospital, however, does not have adequate equipment to accommodate medical needs for consultation as well as treatment. Locals have to drive to Nabatiye (the closest city) which is an hour away.
How it Worked
Through your support, Live Lebanon provided the hospital with a gastro-colonoscopy machine to assist hospital staff in improving the health services that the locals receive. Such a machine is crucial, especially in cases of medical emergencies.
