How it began
The water network in Ain El Tine village is in poor condition, which is negatively affecting the quality of the water. The contaminated water posed heavy sanitation risks and health risks on the locals in the village, which caused them to stop using the network and start buying water. Access to drinkable water is an essential need, therefore Live Lebanon are determined to make a change.
How it worked
The project consisted of building a water network that was 2500 meters long. It starts from the highest point of the village and reaches most households as well as public facilities, such as schools. This network provides 1400 villagers with clean and drinkable water.
